Dundee United Fundraising
Dundee United recently asked extratime to help maximise the fundraising potential of their recent Gala Centenary Dinner, ending up with donations of around £12,000 as a direct result. First Minister Alex Salmond was the special guest at this glittering event, held on 11 September and hosted by Lorraine Kelly and Brian Taylor. extratime ran two hugely successful fundraising activities for the 550 guests: an enticing raffle with fantastic prizes, as well as a silent auction. We put our experience to good use, encouraging guests to participate whilst ensuring they had a good time too. The silent auction saw feverish anonymous bidding for covetable prizes such as signed Dundee United photographs and shirts, as the latest bids were displayed in real time. At the end of the night, everyone was a winner!
